Birch is a brand-new detached ADU build in Stanton — a 1,000 sq ft, 3-bedroom, 2-bathroom unit completed as a standalone home on the property. At this size and bedroom count, Birch sits at the larger end of the Orange County ADU market, which is exactly the point: it's built to function as a true secondary residence for multi-generational families, long-term rentals, or a high-value investment unit, not as a one-room backyard add-on.

The design is intentionally clean and modern. The kitchen is the centerpiece — a two-tone scheme with crisp white shaker uppers and natural oak shaker lowers, anchored by a quartz waterfall island that doubles as breakfast seating and prep space. Calacatta-style countertops and backsplash, designer pendant lighting, and a full stainless steel appliance package round out a kitchen that reads more like a primary residence than a typical ADU build.

We ran wide-plank vinyl plank flooring continuously throughout the unit — durable, water-resistant, and warm-toned to match the natural wood cabinetry. Both bathrooms were finished with the same level of detail as the kitchen: shaker vanities, designer fixtures, and clean modern tile work. Three full bedrooms, each with real closets and finish-grade trim, give the unit genuine flexibility for whoever moves in.

The exterior carries the same restrained palette — light board-and-batten siding, a dark blue front door for contrast, and a covered entry that anchors the elevation. It reads as a real home from the curb, not a converted accessory unit.

This was a full ground-up build with all City of Stanton permits, utilities, and inspections handled in-house.
