Florence

The Florence project was a ground-up custom build in Westminster — one of our largest new-construction projects to date. The owners came to us with a vision for a Mediterranean-style family home that would serve multiple generations: room for the kids to grow up in, a real office to work from, and the kind of finish level you'd expect from a custom build, not a tract home.

We took the project from architectural design and permit application all the way through final inspection, with our in-house team handling design, permitting, construction, and project management. On a project this size, keeping every stage under one roof is what kept the timeline tight and the design intent intact from sketch to keys.

The exterior is a clean Spanish revival — white stucco walls, terracotta tile roof, arched window openings, and a two-story massing that holds the lot without overpowering it. The street presence is intentional: substantial, but warm.

Inside, the great room is the centerpiece of the home. A curved staircase anchors the entry, opening into a double-height living space with vaulted ceilings, light wood flooring, and clean architectural lines that let the volume of the room do the work. We kept the palette neutral and the lighting layered — recessed, pendant, and accent — so the space reads as luxurious without feeling busy.

The kitchen is built for a family that actually cooks and entertains. White shaker cabinetry, a large center island with seating, quartz countertops, and a stainless appliance package, all open to the great room and dining area so the cook is never separated from the conversation.

The home has four bedrooms plus a master suite. The master is a private retreat — vaulted ceiling, custom built-ins, and a spa-style master bath with a freestanding vanity, walk-in tile shower, and designer fixtures. The secondary bedrooms each have their own ensuite or shared bath access, finished to the same standard as the master so no room feels like an afterthought.

Beyond the bedrooms, the home includes a dedicated office with custom built-ins for shelving and storage, and a finished playroom for the kids — both designed as real, intentional rooms, not converted closets or bonus spaces.
